Medical Fitness and Wellness Group Johns Creek is proud to offer our Knee Pain Prevention Program. Scientifically proven, and backed by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, our program will get you out of pain, and back to doing the things that define you.
We start with a state-of-the-art posture assessment, Chiropractic Assessment, and a range of motion assessment to see if the issue is skeletal and muscle related. If it is determined that it is a muscle imbalance, next we will do a full kinetic chain movement assessment using our Redcord system to find the root cause of your pain. The program is structured to treat the origin of the pain, not the symptom. This is what keeps the pain from returning, AND is currently keeping you in that vicious inflammatory cycle. Once the movement and kinetic chain assessment determines the origin of your muscle imbalance or a misaligned pelvis shown through a chiropractic assessment, we then design a customized corrective exercise program for your situation. We will re-assess your progress to determine if the muscle imbalances are improving. Typically, you will feel relief within the first few sessions. A typical sports medicine program runs about 6-12 weeks which could be more depending on the severity of the case.
Corrective Exercise focuses on optimum posture, quality movement, and core function. By reintroducing proper structure in the body, structure can improve and you can move freely and with less pain.
Corrective Exercise is an essential tool for people of all abilities and ages. With the right Corrective Exercise program for you, the flaws in any technique can be overcome. From something as advanced as sprinting or as repetitive as working on your computer-Corrective Exercise is the answer. Poor technique in any kind of movement sets the stage for injury, and ill health.
Do you have a Sports injury? Corrective Exercise and Chiropractic is the answer to continue a program following Physical Therapy. Our Sports rehab is second to none in when you are looking to get back to 100 percent.

Mike’s journey with physical fitness began in college 35 years ago when he broke his leg playing Rugby. He soon realized the importance of proper rehabilitation and Corrective exercise to build functional strength and prevent future injuries. Mike quickly embraced the lifestyle and the health benefits exercising gave him, not just from a physical standpoint, but from a wellness standpoint as well. Shortly after, Mike became certified as a Personal Trainer and was on staff with LA Fitness for several years where a master trainer introduced him to a whole new approach of functional and core training. While attending school for his Masters in Exercise Science and rehabilitation, Mike had the opportunity to work for a Medical Exercise company in Duluth, Georgia, where he learned from the best in the business in the way of Medical and Corrective Exercise. Several years later Mike decided to open his own mobile personal training business training clients in their homes, and his company, New Strength Dynamics was formed. Finally, with an increasingly busy client schedule, Mike decided to move to the next level and add a physical location in Johns Creek, Georgia, now called Medical Fitness and Wellness Group which has been in operation since 2014.
